Introducing TransSpirited

TransSpirited is a group that services a full range of transgendered people, their supporters and those who want to learn more about transgenderism in general. We are an all-inclusive, friendly supportive group. We are here to help people in their quest to find themselves. To be an ear, to be a voice, to educate about transgenderism in all its different facets.

What to expect?

It's really like any other social group meeting, except for the common bond of Transgenderism. Even though we all share some form of transgenderism, it doesn't mean that we share the same aspect of it. Discussion will typically range from people's interests in transgenderism to run-of-the-mill conversations. It's just a "get to know you" meeting with no strings attached. You may even get to learn something. Besides, we all learn something every day, small or big.

What to wear?

Since this is a public event, the dress code must be appopriate for children. Otherwise it is casual. You may come dressed to be comfortable, whatever that is. You may also change into your comfortable clothing at the church.

About your host

Hi, I am Michael Cottrell. As a spiritual leader and teacher, I believe passionately that all are called to live fully embodied with who we are, and remain open to whom we are becoming. My work as an out queer Christian has been to enlighten and encourage the formation of radically inclusive communities that explore development of mind, body, and spirit.

Reservations?

Reservations (RSVP) are required for the free meal. All meals are in part Pot Luck if you can and if you wish to share your favorate food dish. After the RSVP dinner, all are welcome. 2 T.T.C. Tokens will be available for each person that RSVP's.
